Toronto, Ontario – Toronto has been selected as one of the world’s first cities with a McLaren dealer, making the new MP4-12C available to Canadians. McLaren Automotive plans to have Pfaff Automotive Partners in Woodbridge, northeast of Toronto, represent McLaren in Canada.
The proposed dealership, at 33 Auto Park Circle in Woodbridge, is anticipated to open in the summer of 2011.
“For more than 45 years, Pfaff has been bringing Canadians and great cars together,” said Christopher Pfaff, president of Pfaff Automotive Partners. “Canadian drivers have long been captivated by the McLaren brand and its status as a world leader in building performance vehicles. As the sole Canadian retailer for the McLaren launch, we will be building on our foundation as a premier luxury automotive retailer.”
McLaren, which launched the McLaren F1 road car in 1993, and teamed with Mercedes-Benz on the SLR McLaren, is now developing its own retail network. With an anticipated launch in North America in the summer of 2011, the 12C is the first in a range of high-performance sports cars from McLaren.
