It’s finally great to see some non-PlayBook news going around (not that we aren’t excited for the PlayBook, but you know). BGR had a chance to post up some great hands-on pictures of the upcoming BlackBerrysmartphone code-named Monaco and Monza (frequency depending). This new device will be available in both CDMA and GSM radios, and will run BlackBerry OS 6.1. BGR notes that this device most likely will not be part of the Storm family, and might even just be called BlackBerry Touch, but somehow we highly doubt that. BGR also points out that BlackBerry OS 6.1 will require you to sign into your BlackBerry ID at boot up, which could lead to some pretty interesting features. Personally I’m hoping that PIN’s for BBM get replaced by your BlackBerry ID someday, but we will see what happens. Check more pictures of the BlackBerry Monaco/Monza below…
Oh and before you ask… Rumor has it this and most of the other leaked devices will at least appear at BlackBerry World 2011 next month. Stay tuned!
