Late last year we caught wind that Dell was working on an Android-based tablet of some kind and that it would be called the Dell Streak. At the time, we only knew about a five-inch variant, but now it seems that Dell wants to tackle the iPad head on with a couple more Streak units.
Shown here are the two new Dell Streak tablets that may soon be hitting the marketplace. For starters, the display sizes are much more in line with the current tablet range, being shown with a 7-inch screen and a 10-inch screen.
You’ll also notice that the device itself has gained a slight redesign. Whereas the five-inch Dell Streak leaked last year had more rounded edges (sort of like the LG Eve), the newer Dell Streaks are much more iPad-esque in style, wouldn’t you say?
We’ll take this leak with a grain of salt for now, especially since we don’t have much to go on other than this picture, but the word is that the Dell Streak 7 could launch late 2010 (possibly with AT&T support and contract subsidy) with the Dell Streak 10 following suit in early 2011.

Any info around a Canadian launch for the Streak 5? The word on a US launch is for June on ATT/TMobile, so I'm wondering what that would mean in terms of the general trend around how long it will be before it's introduced the the Cdn market. And given the tech specs, will it be limited to any particular Cdn wireless provider, or would it be possible to purchase sans-contract, and install my own SIM?
